Teri Schmitt is the newest member of the SacValley MedShare Board of Directors. Teri replaces the seat previously held by Louis Ward and represents both Mountain Valleys Health Centers (MVHC) and the 299 Collaborative. Teri started with MVHC in 2005 in the front office. In 2006, she moved to Billing and worked primarily on Medicaid/Special Programs. In 2009, Teri started as the Implementation Manager for the conversion to EMR from paper charts. Since that time, she has continued to support all elements of the EMR as System Administrator. She trains providers on the EMR, handles daily IT issues and works on special projects. Teri recently started the management of the Medical Records Team and Care Transition activities. She also works closely with the Executive Team, Quality Management Program and works on data collection and analysis.
