SacValley Medshare is excited to announce that we are enhancing our services and capabilities with KPI Ninja by Health Catalyst in January 2026.
We, at SacValley MedShare, believe in “Transforming data from moveable to useable” through our partnership with Health Catalyst and leveraging KPI Ninja as our new information-exchange platform we will have enhanced capabilities to deliver health and social services information to our members in ways that will make it useful and actionable by utilizing single sign-on solutions, enhanced FHIR capability, API integration, and enhanced analytic and intelligence functionality.
How does this migration benefit my organization and my patients?
This upgrade will make it easier to securely access and exchange health data across the region and beyond. The new SacValley MedShare HIE platform offers improved performance, enhanced functionality, stronger identity management, expanded reporting and analytics, and advanced security.
Migrating to the new platform provides broader access to timely, accurate patient data—supporting better care coordination with greater efficiency, reliability, and safety. These improvements help enhance quality of care, increase patient satisfaction, and reduce overall healthcare costs.
Will all of my data be migrated to the new SacValley MedShare HIE platform?
Yes. The new SacValley MedShare HIE platform will include all participant data from 2021 to the present.

When will the new HIE Portal be available?
The new SVMS Member Portal will be available to SacValley MedShare participants on January 28th, 2026.
Users who have logged into the legacy HIE Portal within the last six (6) months will be migrated automatically to the new SVMS Member Portal.
The SVMS Member Portal provides secure, centralized access to patient records, giving users a comprehensive view of each patient in a single system.

When will training on the new HIE Portal be available?
Training for the new HIE Portal will begin in February 2026 for all SacValley MedShare participants. Click HERE for dates and times
We are committed to ensuring all users are well prepared to use the new platform effectively. As training materials become available, detailed instructions and schedules will be shared.

When will each of the new SacValley MedShare HIE solutions be available?
The new SacValley MedShare HIE solutions will be accessible starting in February 2026.
New Direct Secure Messaging became available shortly after the portal launch.
What solutions or functionality will not be available at go-live?
Most existing HIE solutions and functionality will be available on the new platform.
Exceptions include select custom reports, which will not be available at go-live.

When will SacValley MedShare implement new solutions?
New (non-migrated) solutions will be implemented immediately following go-live.
Implementation timing will depend on contract execution and participant readiness to ensure a smooth rollout.
Will my EHR/EMR vendor charge for migration?
Please consult your EHR/EMR vendor regarding migration-related costs.
SacValley MedShare does not cover vendor migration fees.
